The Beginning

Founded on deep Japan expertise

JP Tokyo Travels began as the travel division of SAMA Co. Ltd, founded by Sunil Dutt Bhatt in Chiba, Japan. With years of experience living and operating in Japan, Sunil built the company on a simple conviction: Indian travellers deserve a ground partner who truly understands both cultures.

From navigating vegetarian dining options across Tokyo to coordinating charter buses in Osaka, the company has handled hundreds of groups with the precision that Japan demands and the warmth that Indian clients expect.

Strategic Partnership

A new chapter with JP Tokyo & Company

The partnership with JP Tokyo & Company marked a transformative step. Dayanand Singh and Hemant Rawat, the founders of JP Tokyo & Company — a management consulting and IT firm with a global footprint — joined the board as directors, bringing strategic vision and operational infrastructure.

This combination of Sunil's ground-level Japan travel expertise with JP Tokyo's business infrastructure means expanded capabilities, stronger vendor relationships, and a platform built for scale.
